Dwight Agnor is one of the most renowned and highly respected model and talent scouts in the world. In 1989, with less than $1,000, Dwight Agnor created a new concept for the modeling industry which he called The Model Expo concept.

Before long, Dwight had several top New York modeling agencies who agreed to participate in this new concept and the world’s first model scouting company was the result. This new company became known as the Manhattan Model Search.

Manhattan Model Search held large model search conventions in regional cities all across America. Before long, most every prominent model agency in America would be attending Dwight Agnor’s Manhattan Model Search conventions.

The concept was simple: aspiring models were invited to attend a Manhattan Model Search convention (The Model Expo) in the hopes of being discovered by top model agencies. The results were predictable and nearly immediate. Hundreds of models were discovered through these events and The Model Expo concept soon became the industry standard for the discovery of new models.

Because of the overwhelming success of his Model Expo concept, Dwight Agnor was soon featured on dozens of TV talk shows and newscasts, as well as in major newspapers and magazines all across America.

Having been a professional actor and trained public speaker, Dwight Agnor began to use his prestige and access to the media to speak out on the most pressing issues facing the youth of America. Dwight Agnor has given over 2,000 free seminars to young people coast to coast. These seminars and open calls have been attended by over one million people. Added to the millions who have seen Dwight Agnor speak on television and one begins to understand why Mr. Agnor has been invited to speak to dozens of youth groups, church groups and drug rehab centers.

It was due to his motivational speaking skills (and the tremendous success of his Model Expo concept) that Dwight Agnor was awarded the coveted National Leadership Award by then Speaker of the House of Representatives, Congressman Newt Gingrich. By 1995, several imitation companies began to copy Dwight Agnor’s Model Expo concept. Many of these new companies began charging enormous sums of money to attend model search conventions. Others turned out to be of questionable character, and soon, the pristine image Dwight Agnor had created for the model scouting industry was beginning to deteriorate.

By 1999, Dwight Agnor sold Manhattan Model Search and began working on two new projects. The first project was the write the popular book titled “Begin a Career as a Model or Actor�?. Dwight’s book was a tremendous success with over 100,000 copies in print.

Dwight’s second project was to create a six-part video series for aspiring models and actors. The first three of these videos takes aspiring models behind the scenes of the modeling industry as never done before. This set of videos is titled “What Every New Model Needs to Know but Doesn’t Know Who to Ask�?.

The second three videos takes actors behind the scenes of the acting business and are titled “What Every New Actor Needs to Know but Doesn’t Know Who to Ask�?.

Concerned by all the model and actor scams being reported across America, Dwight Agnor worked feverishly to complete these projects to give aspiring models and actors all the information they needed to begin successful careers. In 2004, Dwight Agnor began CentralTalent.com (CT). The CT website was launched with his long-time associate Cynthia Cooper, another reputable model and talent scout based in Los Angeles.

The Central Talent website serves to further Dwight Agnor’s passion to give aspiring models and actor’s access to everything they need to know to begin exciting careers the right way…without wasting time or money. CentralTalent.com also allows members to create their own personal profile pages so that they can actually be scouted online by hundreds of industry professionals.

Using the phenomenal success of Central Talent as a sponsor, Dwight Agnor has now returned to his roots by re-starting his original Model Expo concept. The name of this newest model convention is simply…The Model Expo. Unlike all those who have copied Dwight Agnor’s original concept, the model Expo has remained true to things that made it so successful for so many years.

Unlike expensive imitations who now charge $1,000 or more to attend, The Model Expo is still priced as it was 10 years ago…just $395. And, unlike imitations that have no limit on the number of participants and sometimes have thousands of models at an event, The Model Expo is limited to just 700 models per event.

Finally, unlike all the imitations across America, The Model Expo is the original concept, run by the original creator himself, Dwight Agnor.
